Lecture halls for up to 150 participants are available for satellite symposia from Monday, Sept. 10 (8 am) to Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018 (4 pm) at no costs.
Two Student helpers per satellite symposium will be present throughout in the lecture hall to manage the technical facilities and the computers for presentations.
We will take care of catering for coffee breaks. Lunch and dinner, however, are on the participants or the symposium organizers.
The organizers of satellite symposia are responsible the scientific programs and for the invitation and hosting of the symposia speakers. As we have no funds to pay for travel and accomodation expenses of symposium speakers, the organizers of the symposia have to make sure to raise their own funding.
Please send your application for a satellite symposium to Jan-Peter Hildebrandt (email@example.com) no later than November 30, 2017. Please include
- the title of the symposium
- address data of the responsible organzier(s)
- a brief description of the scientific content (200 words maximum)
- a preliminary program including names and addresses of invited speakers and their topics
