Protostome functional genetics - Tribolium and friends

September 8, 2020 | Lecture Hall 126 Neue Universität Sanderring, Sanderring 2, 97070 Würzburg

This satellite meeting brings together scientists that work on gene function and other topics in the red flour beetle and other arthropod or protostome model systems. We will present and discuss our latest results in short talks and exchange technical expertise. There is no restriction with respect to the topic. Pleae provide a title (via abstract upload) and a very brief abstract - we will not have a poster session.

Please consider applying for a presentation in addition for a presentation at the main meeting, which will be selected independently. The main meeting represents all fields of Zoology, has very interesting plenary speakers, includes a focused developmental biology session with the title: "From tiny steps to major transitions - Evo-Devo on various scales" and an interdisciplinary symposium "The loss of species - a matter of biological timing".
