From 7 to 11 September 2026, the University of Münster will host the 118^th Annual Meeting of the German Zoological Society (DZG), which will bring together zoologists from around the world, spanning various taxa, methods, and disciplines.

The event will provide a forum for researchers at all career stages to share and discuss their latest findings in zoological research. The programme will include plenary talks, poster sessions, contributed talks, satellite symposia and a public talk, as well as a conference dinner at the Meranti Hall at Münster Zoo.

With its historic architecture, green spaces and being home to one of Germany’s largest universities, Münster offers a vibrant and inspiring setting for networking, collaboration and exchange.
