Zoo Berlin is the oldest zoological institution in Germany and is internationally known for its extensive species diversity. Notable exhibits include the only giant pandas in the country. Guided tours provide participants with insights into the zoo’s zoological management and its role in species conservation and research.
Up to three special tours are organized for this DZG-Meeting with a limited group size of 15 participants for each tour. The tours are free of charge, however the entrance fee of the Zoo has to be covered. Tickets can be purchased on site. The tour(s) start at Lions-Gate entrance of the Zoo (next to the train station Zoologischer Garten; NOT: Elephants-Gate) at 3pm (Tuesday, September 9th). Please address inquiries or make reservations by contacting dzg-2025-tourshu-berlinde.
