Tierpark Berlin

Located in former East Berlin, Tierpark Berlin encompasses 160 hectares and is recognized as Europe’s largest animal park. It contains a wide range of species housed in extensive and carefully maintained landscapes surrounding Friedrichsfelde manor. Guided tours offer an overview of the park’s management, research contributions, and conservation activities.

Special tours are organized for this DZG-Meeting with a limited group size of 15 participants for each tour; up to three tours can be orgnized in parallel. The tours are free of charge, however the entrance fee of the Tierpark has to be covered. Tickets can be purchased on site. The tour(s) start at the northern entrance of the Tierpark (Schloss Friedrichsfelde) at 3pm (Tuesday, September 9th).  Please address inquiries or make reservations by contacting dzg-2025-tourshu-berlinde.
