Ihnestraße Memorial

Ihnestraße Memorial is dedicated to examining the historical role of the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute for Anthropology, Human Heredity, and Eugenics, which was located at this site between 1927 and 1945. The memorial presents detailed documentation on the racially motivated and unethical scientific practices of the time, featuring exhibits across four floors and an outdoor area.

The tour is led by a historian and highlights the intersection of scientific research and inhumane policies. We meet at the entrance of Ihnestraße Memorial at 2pm (Tuesday, September 9th). The tour, which is free of charge, will last for about 1 h 30 min. Participation is limited to 20 individuals. Contact dzg-2025-tourshu-berlinde for reservations.
